JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you are responsible for the overall structure and optimization of our logistics processes. From the receipt of goods to shipping, you ensure a streamlined and efficient workflow.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Managing the logistics flow: You organize and optimize the receipt, storage, order picking, and shipping of goods, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Warehouse management: You maintain a well-organized and efficient warehouse environment, where operational efficiency is key.
Building the logistics organization: You develop and implement the structure needed for a strong logistics organization, focused on growth and optimization.
Quality control: In collaboration with the quality manager, you ensure accurate inspection of incoming goods.
Team leadership: You coach, motivate, and lead the logistics team, actively tracking their performance and development.
Monitoring processes and KPIs: You monitor logistics performance, ensuring that the flow of goods aligns with the set goals for lead time and quality.
Transport management: You organize, implement, and control the transport of our products, striving for optimal efficiency.
5S implementation: As the leader of the 5S methodology in the warehouse, you ensure a tidy and safe working environment.
ERP optimization: You work on simplifying our ERP system to further streamline the logistics processes.
Continuous improvement: You track warehouse KPIs and use them to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Profile
Leadership experience: You have proven experience as a leader in a warehouse environment or a similar setting, and you know how to motivate teams and optimize processes.
Strong organizer and communicator: Organizing is in your DNA, and you communicate clearly and effectively, both with your team and other departments.
Knowledge of quality and safety: You have a solid understanding of quality and safety standards and ensure they are adhered to in every process.
Forklift experience is a plus: Ideally, you have a forklift certification, making you more versatile in the warehouse.
Hands-on mentality: You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves, take initiative, and tackle challenges head-on to drive improvements.
Multilingual: You are fluent in Dutch and English, and a good knowledge of French is definitely a plus.
