JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Logistic Buyer, you are the bridge between departments, such as purchasing, production, and the warehouse. You offer planning support for incoming goods, orders, and stock management.
YOUR TASKS
You take care of administrative follow-up and you maintain stock levels by placing timely call-off orders.
You keep in touch with the supplier regarding the orders placed and you take action if the delivery deadline is compromised.
You follow up logistical changes with the suppliers in cooperation with our quality colleagues.
You keep track of the suppliers’ KPIs.
You keep the ERP system up to date with regard to the purchasing processes.
You report directly to the purchasing manager.
YOUR SKILLS
You are administratively strong.
Knowledge of MS Office.
Experience with an ERP system is an asset.
YOUR PROFILE
You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience.
You have initial work experience in a logistical or purchasing position in which the management of orders and stocks were part of your duties.
You are a strong communicator and can easily build relationships.
You work independently and take responsibility for your tasks and projects.
You pay attention to detail.
You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
